Abstract

This technote presents masks for the Abell 360 galaxy cluster using LSSTComCam DP1 data. We design four types of masks: a bright object mask, a galactic extinction mask, an exposure mask, and a “hand mask” created through visual inspection of the field. These masks are designed to be used in weak lensing analyses of the A360 cluster, but the methods presented here are broadly applicable to any field observed by LSST.
